From the moment we began designing our onsite accommodations and restaurant, we decided to also create a large vegetable garden. The result is a terraced area of land about 200 square meters in size that is divided into 7 quadrants. It is located on the estate, next to the reception and parking area.
The vegetable garden wasn’t created to be purely ornamental, even if the overall effect is of great aesthetic value; instead, it was primarily planted to guarantee our restaurant "Il Passaggio by Capanna" a constant source of homegrown, seasonal vegetables and edible flowers.
The care of the garden is entrusted to a specialized collaborator who takes care of it throughout the year by rotating the crops according to the calendar and cultivating it using principles inspired by biodynamics.
